have had the privilege of teaching Arabic to students aged 7–12, as well as supporting GCSE-level learners. I design engaging and effective lessons that are interactive, enjoyable and tailored to each student’s age, ability and learning style. My aim is not only to help students excel academically, but also to develop their enjoyment and confidence in the subject.

I recognise that younger students often learn particularly well through visual, active and independent exploration, so I incorporate games and interactive activities into my lessons. For example, when teaching synonyms, I use matching games where students match words and score points for correct answers. When students are first learning Arabic letters, I use flashcards alongside interactive challenges and repetition to reinforce their understanding and help move new information into their long-term memory.
